A majority, 56 percent, of U.S. chief information officers indicated their organizations suffer from a technology skills shortage, according to a survey by information technology staffing firm Harvey Nash and TelecityGroup. In addition, 90 percent of CIOs expressed some level of concern about retaining talent.

CIOs said the most-needed skill for U.S. organizations is “enterprise architecture.”

The survey included 450 IT leaders in the U.S.
