Survey: 40% of CFOs to boost IT spending

Forty percent of CFOs plan to invest in information technology systems once the economy improves, according to a survey by Robert Half Management Resources, a division of Robert Half International Inc. (NYSE: RHI).

The investments involve human resources as well as hardware and software, according to Paul McDonald, executive director of Robert Half Management Resources.

The survey included more than 1,400 telephone interviews with CFOs.
