Survey: 33% of workers to seek new jobs

Thirty-three percent of workers said they will likely look for a new job when the economy picks up, according to a survey by CareerBuilder. And almost 32% of employers are concerned about losing high performing workers in the second quarter.

The survey found that 32% of workers were dissatisfied with their pay, up from 29% in the same period last years. Twenty-two percent of workers were dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with their work-life balance, up from 20% last year. In addition, 27% of workers were dissatisfied with their career opportunities provided by their current employers, up from 24% last year.

The survey included 4,803 U.S. workers and 2,778 hiring managers and human resources professionals. It took place between February 10 and March 2.
