Staffmark, a Cincinnati-based staffing firm, named Lesa Francis as president.

Francis joined Staffmark in 2006 as chief operating officer, and will hold that title as well as president.

Francis served as senior VP of business development and operations at Spherion Corp. (NYSE:SFN). She has more than 25 years of experience in the staffing industry.

Staffmark was formerly known as CBS Personnel Holdings Inc. CBS acquired Staffmark on Jan. 21, 2008, and CBS later adopted the Staffmark name. It provides industrial, clerical, transportation, information technology, engineering, financial, legal and healthcare staffing. Staffmark's parent company is Compass Diversified Holdings (NASD: CODI).
