When a sustained upturn in staffing industry employment occurs, it would herald the end of the recession and suggest that overall nonfarm employment would start growing again about three months later, according to research released Monday by the American Staffing Association.

The conclusion came from statistical analyses of 36 years of data by ASA and the Inavero Institute.
