Staffing organizations elect leaders

The American Staffing Association and the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies (CIETT) have elected new leaders.

William Stoller was elected as chairman of the American Staffing Association. He is co-founder and vice chairman of Express Services Inc., the parent company of Express Employment Professionals. Mark Toth, of Manpower Inc. (NYSE: MAN), was named first vice chairman; Claudette Cunitz, senior VP of G-Tech Professional Staffing, was elected second vice chairman; Aaron Green, founder of Professional Staffing Group, was elected treasurer; and William Yoh, president and CEO of Yoh Group, was elected secretary.

New directors elected to American Staffing Association's board include Jeffrey Burnett, CEO of Labor Finders International; Tom Daley, senior VP of Volt Workforce Solutions; James Essey, CEO of The TemPositions Group of Companies; Roy Krause, president and CEO of Spherion Corp. (NYSE: SFN); James Novick, executive VP of Allegis Group Inc.; and John Seelander, co-founder and president of The Plus Group.

CIETT members elected Horacio De Martini, regional director of Manpower Inc. South America, as its new president for the next three years. CIETT members also elected Fred van Haasteren, executive VP at Randstad Holding NV and chair of the Randstad Group, as VP of the confederation.
