View All NewsStaffing growth to nearly stall
February 29, 2008
In 2007 the staffing industry experienced its weakest growth in four years. The commercial side of temporary staffing saw a decline in revenue for the year, its first decline since 2002. The professional side continued to grow, but at a slower pace. Place and search, which boomed in 2004-2006, decelerated sharply to just under double-digit growth in 2007. Staffing Industry Analysts projects the industry overall to come to a near stall in 2008 in its newly released industry forecast. For a copy of the forecast, click here.
