Adecco North America, CHG Healthcare Services Inc., Apex Systems Inc. and SkillStorm are among staffing firms that recently received honors:

Adecco North America, part of the Adecco SA, received the 2008 supplier of excellence award from Alcon Inc. Adecco was among four winners of the award. Alcon is an eye-care company with sales of $5.6 billion in 2007.

CHG Healthcare Services Inc., a Salt Lake City-based healthcare staffing firm, announced it landed on Utah Business magazine's list of best companies to work for. CHG received the award based on company benefits and policies as well as a survey of employees.

Apex Systems Inc. announced its Denver location received an award as a best place to work from the Denver Business Journal. Apex provides staffing in the information technology, finance and accounting, engineering and legal segments.

SkillStorm, a San Diego-based engineering and information technology staffing firm, received the San Diego Better Business Bureau's 2008 Torch Award for marketplace ethics.
