Staffing firm founder’s team in Super Bowl

February 01, 2013

Stephen Bisciotti, the founder of Allegis Group, could be flashing a Super Bowl ring in the near future. In addition to his role at Allegis, Bisciotti is also the majority owner of the Baltimore Ravens football team, which plays the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday.

At age 23, Biscotti and his cousin, Jim Davis, founded Aerotek; the company grew into the Allegis Group, the largest privately held staffing firm in the United States. He purchased a minority interest in the Ravens in 2000 and completed the purchase of the franchise in April 2004. At 52, Bisciotti is the second-youngest owner in the NFL.
