Staffing Industry Analysts names executive director of global research

Staffing Industry Analysts named John Nurthen as executive director of global research responsible for all editorial and research on a global scale. Nurthen has been with Staffing Industry Analysts for more than four years and is based in London.

Nurthen was previously responsible for launching Staffing Industry Analysts’ services in Europe and building the research team to provide content on the company’s European and Rest of World regions. In his new role, Nurthen will be responsible for global research and Staffing Industry Analysts’ editorial products including: Staffing Industry Review, The Staffing Stream and CWS 3.0.

Prior to his promotion, Nurthen was executive director of international development. He has 20 years of experience in the staffing industry having previously worked in a variety of senior managerial roles for three of the world’s largest staffing companies: Select Appointments, Vedior and Randstad. During this time, he played an active role in a series of major equity offerings and mergers. He has held responsibility for internal and external communications, e-Business, technology matters, marketing, research, procurement and corporate social responsibility. His experience makes him an authority on global recruitment and contingent workforce issues covering all sectors of the market.
