Staffing Firms Got Break From Deceleration

September 07, 2012

Revenue trends among staffing firms in July stopped worsening after two months of deceleration, according to the latest “Staffing Industry Pulse Report” released by Staffing Industry Analysts. The latest report included data from 146 staffing firms.

“Notably, in July we saw a respite from the deceleration of the past two months,” said Research Analyst Robert Balicki. “New orders were up, but still low. Total temp staffing year-over-year revenue growth came in at 13 percent.”

The net proportion of survey respondents reporting an increase in orders was 45 percent for July. That is an improvement over the 38 percent in the prior month, which was the lowest on record.
