Staffing Firm Owner Sentenced to Year

A Minnesota staffing firm owner was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison for failing to pay more than $150,000 in payroll taxes, the U.S. Attorney’s Office reported. The owner, Doris Ruiz, pleaded guilty back on Jan. 17.

Ruiz owned Olen Staff Company in Minneapolis between 2005 and 2007, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
