Slate names former Corporate Resource exec as president

August 12, 2015

Slate Professional Resources Inc. appointed Mark Levine as president, effective Aug. 10. Freehold, N.J.-based Slate provides staffing services to the legal, accounting and information technology industries.

Levine replaces Allan Hartley, who took the role in March 2014 after stepping down as co-CEO of Staffing 360 Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: STAF).

Levine has been president and chief operating officer for Corporate Resource Services Inc. since 2007. Corporate Resource Services, one time one of the largest staffing firms in the US, delisted from the NASDAQ stock exchange earlier this year and filed for bankruptcy protection in July.

Prior to Corporate Resource Services, Levine was executive VP of Accretive Solutions Inc. from 2001 to 2007; president of Stratus Services Group from 1998 to 2001; regional VP of Corestaff Inc. from April 1996 to April 1998; regional manager of Norrell Services Inc. from 1993 to 1996; and assistant VP of US sales of Dun & Bradstreet from 1983 to 1993.

“We are extremely excited to have Mark join our firm as president," said Slate CEO Jeffrey J. Raymond. “Mark’s ability to grow and manage large staffing and consulting businesses will assist us in continuing to build a high margin professional services firm throughout North America.”
