October 21, 2015

Employers in California’s Silicon Valley expect a high level of hiring in the fourth quarter, according to West Valley Staffing Group’s latest Silicon Valley economic forecast survey.

The quarterly survey found 43.0% of hiring managers predict their hiring needs to increase in the fourth quarter and 48.0% believe their hiring trends will remain steady. Only 9.0% of hiring managers expect their needs to decrease in the fourth quarter.

“Silicon Valley’s job growth is tremendous! New construction projects surround us as companies of all sizes move into the technology hub,” said Executive VP Charlie Allport. “This is the highest level of demand for talent we have seen in many years.”

The survey included hundreds of hiring managers from different industries, including high tech, manufacturing, electronics, finance, semiconductor, medical, aerospace and alternative energy.
