Seaton revenue up 31%

Seaton reported first-quarter revenue rose 31 percent year over year to $148 million from $113 million in the first quarter of 2013. Excluding the January acquisition of Australia-based RPO provider HRX, organic revenue rose 29 percent.

The privately held staffing provider is based in Chicago and operates the Staff Management|SMX, PeopleScout, StudentScout and HRX brands.

According to the company, the PeopleScout division had a particularly strong quarter, delivering top line organic growth of 61 percent, while Staff Management achieved growth of 24 percent. StudentScout and HRX achieved double-digit growth rates.

“We’ve successfully implemented a record number of new client engagements over the past 12 months, while many of our existing clients have chosen to expand their relationship,” said CEO Patrick Beharelle.

Seaton ranks No. 27 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest U.S. staffing firms.
