Sanford Barrows Group, a Hollywood FL-based staffing firm, acquired the Accountants Search and Accountants Express staffing firms. The buy helps expand Sanford Barrows' reach into Palm Beach and Broward counties. It will give the company 52 internal employees and more than $6.5 million in annual revenue. Terms of the deal were not announced.

Sanford Barrows' President Richard Hunt said plans call for the two firms to take on the Sanford Barrows brand.

The deal took effect Jan. 1.

Accountants Search and Accountants Express provide temporary and direct hire staffing services in finance and accounting. Sanford Barrows provides finance and accounting staffing as well as information technology and office/clerical staffing services.
