STG lands Homeland Security agreement

December 18, 2008

STG International, an Alexandria VA-based staffing and human resource services firm serving the federal government, said it was awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement for up to $84 million to serve the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office (ICE) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The blanket purchase agreement allows STG to not only provide people to ICE but also human resources services, said Anne Imrie, VP of business development at STG. Those services can include recruitment, workforce planning, performance management and employee development among others.

STG has provided hundreds of personnel and other services to the Department of Homeland Security since 2002 under earlier agreements. Some of those services included pre-employment processing for Customs and Border Protection and providing medical staffing and support for immigration detention facilities nationwide.

In addition, STG announced today that it was also awarded a two-year blanket purchase agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to recruit for senior-level positions.
