October 08, 2013

Lawyers blaming their jobless status on the legal job market are not looking for opportunities beyond urban areas, according to LawCrossing, a job website for the legal sector.

LawCrossing reports 39,052 legal jobs on its portal, with many in the rural areas. Legal positions remained unfilled in counties of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Wyoming and South Dakota. It reports 149 jobs in Nebraska and 48 openings in Wyoming. About 50 active openings on the website are also present in South Dakota and 1,093 active positions are available in Ohio.
