Irvine CA-based professional staffing and services firm Resources Connection Inc. (NASD: RECN) today announced that President and CEO Thomas Christopoul has resigned from his positions at the request of the board. Christopoul will no longer be a member of the company's board. This change is to take effect immediately.

 

The board has reappointed Donald Murray, the company's founder and current executive chairman, as CEO. Murray will also continue to serve as the chairperson of the board. He  previously served as the company's president and CEO from June 1996 through May 31, 2008.
