ResCare Inc. (NASD: RSCR), a provider of in-home care to the elderly and those with disabilities, announced it acquired Care Resources, a Baltimore-based staffing firm with $13 million in annual revenue. Care Resources provides special education teachers and aides, therapists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and nutritionists for students with special needs at schools, hospitals and other sites.

Care Resources has contracts in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Arizona.

ResCare is based in Louisville KY.
