January 08, 2008
Three former owners of a Baltimore area temporary employment agency pleaded guilty to immigration-related charges, the Baltimore Sun newspaper reported today. Michael Morgan and Robert Lanahan pleaded guilty to conspiracy to harbor aliens and face up to 10 years in prison, while Daniel Jones pleaded guilty to unlawful employment of immigrants, according to the paper.
Last March, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement served a search warrant at the staffing company, Jones Industrial Network, and arrested 69 workers and others suspected of immigration violations.
