The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Thursday that Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia has hired 850 temporary employees after nurses and allied healthcare workers went on strike earlier this week. The hospital used HealthSource Global Staffing, based in Fremont CA, for most of the hiring, according to the report.
