Report: Adecco cuts job board spending

Reuters reported Friday that Adecco SA cut its spending on paid job boards in the U.S. to $2 million in 2009 from $6 million in 2007. Instead, Adecco is turning toward LinkedIn, according to the article.

Paid job boards generated 65% of candidates placed through AdeccoUSA.com in 2008 but fell to 20% in 2009, according to the report.
