Reliant Healthcare Professionals Inc., a Denver-based healthcare staffing firm, named Patrick Donovan as CEO.

Donovan has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and staffing. He previously served as president of Linde Healthcare, a locum tenens staffing firm, and Kendall & Davis, a physician permanent placement firm.

Reliant Healthcare operates as FASTAFF Travel Nursing and U.S. Nursing Corp. FASTAFF specializes in filling travel nurses orders on an immediate basis, with as little as 72 hours notice, for four- to eight-week assignments. U.S. Nursing focuses on providing healthcare professionals to facilities during labor disputes.

Reliant announced in December it was searching for a new CEO to replace Gregory Mikkelsen who was stepping down to serve as executive VP and vice chair of the company.
