February 05, 2013

A majority of North America recruiters, 98 percent, used social media for recruiting in 2012, up from 94 percent in 2011, according to survey results released today by Bullhorn Inc., a Boston-based staffing software provider.

LinkedIn ranked as the most-used social network with 97 percent using it. Facebook came next with 51 percent and Twitter followed at 49 percent.

The survey also asked about revenue goals in 2012, and 73 percent of staffing firms surveyed met or exceeded their goals for 2012 compared to 70 percent in 2011.

Bullhorn’s survey included 1,848 respondents in North America.
