Real average weekly earnings fell 0.3% in May from April, according to preliminary seasonally adjusted data released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Average weekly earnings of production and nonsupervisory workers on private payrolls were $609.84 in May before seasonal adjustment.
