Randstad Rebrands U.S. Pro Line

October 03, 2011

Randstad, the world’s second largest staffing company, is rebranding its U.S. professional staffing operations under its new Randstad US, Professionals brand, including its Sapphire Technologies and Accountants International divisions.

In addition, the company is rebranding five divisions under the Randstad US, Professionals brand:

-Randstad Technologies will be the new name for Sapphire Technologies, a provider of information technology staffing.

-Randstad Finance & Accounting will be the new name for the Accountants International division. However, franchise locations will retain the Accountants International name.*

-Randstad Pharma will be the new name for the company’s Delta Pharma staffing division.

-Randstad Engineering will be the new name for the company’s Think Resources engineering staffing division.

-Randstad Human Resources will be the new name for the HRi division.

The changes are intended to make it easier for companies to access Randstad’s professional staffing expertise along with the global resources of Randstad’s commercial staffing business.

“So many companies today are looking to reduce their suppliers and vendors to streamline operations and increase efficiencies,” said Dan Foley, president of Randstad US, Professionals. “Randstad is realigning its businesses to deliver easier access to more resources, meeting the evolving needs of companies while supplying the same high-performing level of professional talent we are known for.”

The changes in brand positioning and identity elements will not affect current service levels or supply of talent currently provided by these Randstad companies.

Randstad acquired SFN Group Inc. earlier this year. However, SFN’s brand will remain, and no decision will be made about it until later this year.

*Accountants International franchised offices retaining the brand are located in Baltimore; Columbia, Md.; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Hunt Valley, Md.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Raleigh, N.C.; Shelton, Conn.; Stamford, Conn.; Westlake Village, Calif.; and White Plains, N.Y.
