RCM revenue up 6%

February 21, 2013

RCM Technologies Inc. (NASD: RCMT), a Pennsauken, N.J.-based staffing provider, reported fourth-quarter revenue rose 5.7 percent to $37.0 million from $35.0 million the same quarter year prior.

“Given the significant dislocation caused by Superstorm Sandy in several of the geographic markets we serve, we are pleased with our fourth quarter results,” said Chairman and CEO Leon Kopyt. “We estimate that we lost close to $1 million in revenues in the aggregate from our Information Technology and Specialty Health Care segments as a result of the storm.”

Fourth-quarter gross margin slipped to 27.3 percent from 28.9 percent in the year-ago quarter.

Net income fell 9.5 percent to $1.0 million.

The company provides IT, engineering and healthcare staffing and had a market capitalization of $67.1 million, according to Yahoo.
