“The quality job hires will be in value-added manufacturing, absolutely,” Manpower CEO Jeffrey Joerres said in a Bloomberg TV interview about the U.S. labor market and wages. “Now, if we don’t get that GDP growth [that is higher than it is now] — particularly in the cap ex spending by corporates in order to try to drive some of that manufacturing — it’s going to be another tepid year.
