Private equity firm invests in IT staffing provider NWN Corp.

Private equity firm New State Capital Partners invested in NWN Corp., whose services include IT staffing and managed services.

New State and NWN’s management team are jointly investing in NWN. Terms were not disclosed.

NWN management will remain in place and continue with significant ownership, including CEO Mont Phelps, President and COO Skip Tappen and CFO Kevin Bullock.

Founded in 2000, NWN targets commercial and public sector clients in the healthcare, education, manufacturing, media, financial services, professional services, and state and local government. The company has more than 2,600 customers in 49 states.
