Medefis Inc., an Omaha NE-based vendor management system, announced it was acquired by OGH, a holding company whose principal shareholder is Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe, a New York-based private equity firm. The deal has closed. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
Medefis focuses on the healthcare industry. The VMS is used by hundreds of hospitals across the country and the deal will help it to expand, the company reported.
