Private equity firm Georgia Oak Partners announced an investment in TeamOne Logistics, a Georgia-based contract staffing and logistics provider to the transportation and warehousing industries. According to the company, TeamOne founder and President Jerry Gray will remain as president and is retaining a substantial stake in the company.

“The Georgia Oak partnership is an exciting next step for us and will bolster our top-line growth strategy,” Gray said. “It is important to us that Georgia Oak brings a local, relationship-based approach. We are excited about this next phase of growth and the benefits this partnership will provide to our customers and employees.”

TeamOne reports approximately $50 million in revenue and counts about 750 employees across 26 states. Its office is in Alpharetta, Ga., although field officers are located in multiple key locations.
