Physician search firms Medicus Partners LP, of Dallas, and The MD Firm Inc., of Atlanta, signed a deal to merge. The companies will operate under the name The Medicus Firm LLC. Terms of the deal were not announced.

Crutchfield Capital Corp. served as adviser to both parties.

The new company has approximately 70 associates and will serve hospitals and medical firms nationwide.

Last year, Medicus was on Staffing Industry Analysts' list of fastest-growing staffing firms.
