Peoplelink Staffing Solutions acquired Hamilton Personnel, a provider of commercial staffing with an office in Buena Vista, Va. The purchase is aimed at better serving the needs of Peoplelink’s customers in the Buena Vista, Lexington, Augusta County and Roanoke areas of Virginia.

Peoplelink will consolidate Hamilton’s operations into an existing office that already serves the market, and the Hamilton operations will transition to the Peoplelink brand. The transition will take place in approximately 30 days.

“Our acquisition of Hamilton Personnel complements our overall staffing footprint so we can now provide expanded professional staffing support to the Virginia markets we presently operate in,” said Peoplelink Chief Operating Officer Jay Mattern.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Peoplelink is based in South Bend, Ind. It ranks on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2012 list of largest U.S. staffing firms.
