PeopleLink Staffing Solutions acquired Visiont, an information technology staffing firm based in Urbandale, Iowa. The acquisition is part of PeopleLink’s focus on developing brand niches. 

The deal closed Monday. Plans call for the Visiont brand to remain. And Visiont President Scott Keen will remain with the company.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

“This acquisition will provide for additional growth in our professional staffing business,” said PeopleLink President and CEO W. “Jay” Wilkinson. “The acquisition will bring a talented staff of veterans and will provide current Visiont clients with even more choices and higher levels of staffing support and human capital services.”

Groupe Crit, a Paris-based staffing firm which acquired a majority stake in PeopleLink in 2011, announced that Visiont has projected revenue of $16 million for this year.

PeopleLink, based in South Bend, Ind., ranks No. 85 on Staffing Industry Analysts 2012 list of largest U.S. staffing firms.
