People: Volt, Healthcare IT Leaders, Randstad, Futurestep, Caldwell and more

Volt Information Sciences Inc. (NYSE MKT: VISI) named Bryan Berndt as controller and chief accounting officer, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Berndt most recently served as controller and chief accounting officer at Reader’s Digest Association Inc. Volt’s new CFO Paul Tomkins, announced earlier this month, also comes from the Reader’s Digest Association.

Healthcare IT Leaders, an IT consulting and recruitment firm for healthcare employers, announced Russ Rudish, president and CEO of Rudish Health Solutions LLC, will become a principal of the firm as a result of a strategic affiliation. Rudish through May 2014 was US and global healthcare leader for healthcare professional services firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited.

Randstad Holding nv announced Robert Jan van de Kraats, CFO and vice-chairman of the executive board, has been appointed as a member of the supervisory board of Schiphol Group. Schiphol operates Amsterdam’s airport and other airports in the Netherlands.

Futurestep, a division of Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY), announced Jonathan Tedesco joined the company’s North American business as sector leader of utilities. Tedesco will be based in Southern California and work closely with the energy practice group at parent company Korn Ferry to extend the reach of its client work below the senior executive level. Prior to re-joining Korn Ferry in 2015, Tedesco led a boutique retained executive search firm he founded in 1998. And Simon Revere was appointed North American supply chain practice leader, joining the business from Futurestep EMEA. Based in the company’s New York office, he will lead executive search assignments across the industrial, consumer, life sciences and technology sectors.

The Caldwell Partners (TSX: CWL.TO), a Toronto-based executive search firm with operations in Canada and the US, announced Glenn Buggy joined the firm as senior partner in the asset and wealth management practice and leader of the firm’s legal, risk and regulatory oversight practice. Buggy joins Caldwell Partners after 11 years at CTPartners, where he was a partner in the financial services practice and leader of the firm’s global compliance, legal and regulatory practice, as well as a senior partner in the asset and wealth management practice.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Barry Bregman joined the firm as a senior member of the financial officers practice. He will be based in Korn Ferry’s New York office and also work closely with its board and CEO practice. In addition, Paul Ciancarelli has joined the firm as a member of the global financial services practice. He will be based in Korn Ferry’s Boston office.

Executive search firm ON Search Partners announced John Barrett and Seth Harris, formerly of Cook Associates, joined the firm. Based in Boston, they expand the firm’s reach to the US Northeast.

DavenportMajor Executive Search appointed Teresa Jacques as partner, technology. Jacques most recently consulted to executives in Silicon Valley, where she led a strategic hiring program in the high-growth big data/analytics sector.

TalentRISE, a Chicago-based management consulting company focused on recruitment, announced Jesse Sherr joined the firm as associate partner. Sherr previously was VP at Laramie Group, a boutique retained search firm in Chicago.
