TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI), a Tacoma WA-based industrial staffing firm, named a former Boeing Company executive to its board of directors.

The new director, Bonnie Soodik, retired from Boeing in 2007 after most recently serving as senior VP of its office of internal governance. Soodik had spent 30 years at the aircraft maker.

Soodik will serve on the board's audit, corporate governance and nominating committees.
