Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include announcements from The Buller Group, CoreMedical Group, Catalyst Advisors, Boyden Global Executive Search and more.

The Buller Group LLC, a Herndon, Va.-based recruiting firm that provides U.S. security-cleared personnel, added Frank Marvin as executive vice president of corporate development. Marvin most recently was chief operating office of M3COM of Virginia, a government contract and commercial services company.

CoreMedical Group, a provider of healthcare and information technology staffing, named Aram Hampoian to vice president of healthcare travel services. Hampoian will oversee physician placement, CoreMedical Group’s newest service line.

Executive search firm Catalyst Advisors announced Christos Richards joined the firm as a partner and executive recruiter, bringing a team with him. Christos most recently was CEO of Levin & Company. Stephen Williams was also named a partner of the firm. Based in Los Angeles, they will spearhead the firm’s expanded operations on the West Coast.

Boyden Global Executive Search announced Lissa Conn joined the firm as a partner. And late last year, senior executive recruiter Paul Moran was appointed as a managing partner at the executive search firm. Both will be based in Boyden’s newly formed Boston office.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) named Alyse Bodine principal-in-charge of its Philadelphia office. Bodine has been with the firm for nearly 10 years and is a member of the firm’s financial officers practice, in addition to her role as Philadelphia office head.

Executive and contract recruiting firm JRP Group, an executive and contract recruiting firm serving the finance and accounting sectors, announced Steve Tutwiler will lead its first specialized healthcare division in Denver.

AC Lordi, an accounting and risk management consulting and executive search firm, announced Steve Gambone joined the firm as director in accounting services. The company also promoted Colleen Tofani to director in accounting services. And Jim Han, currently a director in the company’s risk management services practice, will move into a full-time role as a director of business development.

Pro Staff promoted Christa Winkelman and Marla Moore-Spies to director of sales and operations in the Twin Cities metro. Winkelman will oversee sales and operations in Pro Staff’s Minneapolis, Edina and Burnsville offices, while Moore-Spies will lead these functions in Chanhassen, Plymouth and Coon Rapids. Pro Staff is owned by Minneapolis-based staffing provider Atterro Human Capital Group.

Technology consulting and staffing firm IT Avalon named Steven McMahon as account executive and Midwest regional manager, leading its Avalon Minneapolis/St. Paul headquarters. McMahon has more than 20 years of consulting and sales experience and has worked at Computer Associates, Infragistics, Compuware, and AT&T.
