People: TSR, JFC Staffing Companies and more

TSR Inc. (NASD: TSRI), a Hauppauge, NY-based supplier of IT staffing, appointed Brian J. Mangan to its board of directors, increased the board to six directors. Mangan retired in 2013 from the Disney/ABC Television Group after a 30-year career in various financial roles, his last position being senior VP finance for the ABC Television Network.

The JFC Staffing Companies promoted Heather Hollinger from branch manager to regional manager of the Camp Hill, Penn.-based firm. She is expanding her territory from the Lancaster branch into the Reading area with a branch in West Lawn. The firm also hired Tyler Littleton as regional manager for JFC’s York, Carlisle and Chambersburg branches. He most recently was a regional manager with Abacus and has eight years’ experience in the staffing and recruiting industry in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia, Utah and Virginia.

DHI Group Inc. (NYSE: DHX) Chairman Peter Ezersky resigned from the company’s board of directors effective Jan. 31, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. DHI is the parent company of job board Dice. The board appointed current member John Barteras to the chairman role, effective upon Ezersky’s resignation. Ezersky has served as a DHI board director since August 2005 and chairman since September 2013.

StarMed, a healthcare search provider and a division of Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASD: CCRN), promoted Cecilia Beard from managing director to VP. She is now responsible for all strategic and operational functions of the business, including client consultation, recruiting and search process optimization, and business development. Before joining StarMed, Beard was a director of Albertini Group Inc., focused on executive search, and worked for health care executive and physician search firm Cejka Search for 13 years, most recently as director, client services.

Robert Half Legal announced Kirby Grossman, metro market manager of Robert Half Legal in Chicago, will oversee its recently launched operations in Northbrook, Ill., serving the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago. Grossman joined Robert Half Legal in March 2008 and was promoted to her current role in 2014.

Sports Recruitment International, an executive search firm targeting the sports, media and entertainment industries, announced Max Dawson will lead its new practice in Canada. Dawson previously worked for a National Hockey League team and also served as a consultant at an executive search firm in Canada. SRi operates offices in London, Lausanne, Singapore, Beijing, Sydney, Melbourne and now Canada.

IIC Partners Executive Search Worldwide appointed Giuseppe Milito, managing partner of executive search firm Stones International in Hong Kong, as the new leader of its consumer and retail practice group. He succeeds Jean-Marc Danton of Progress Search in Paris, who served as the practice group leader since 2011. IIC Partners is a global executive search network.
