People: Select/Andrews, Fastaff, Labor Finders and more

Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include changes at Select Staffing/Andrews Staffing, Fastaff, Labor Finders International Inc., Oasis Outsourcing, Resources Global Professionals, 11th Hour Search, Korn/Ferry, MSA Executive Search and SpringBoard Inc.

The Illinois-based Select Staffing/Andrews Staffing family of firms named Al Brown as president. Brown comes to the firm with 16 years of experience in the staffing industry. The announcement was made by Select Staffing/Andrews Staffing Chairman Mary Zwirn. Brown's goal will be to increase the firm's revenue to $200 million.

Fastaff Travel Nursing, a  medical and travel nurse staffing firm, added Cynthia Bynum as director of marketing. Bynum previously led the marketing services practice for the western United States for Bluewolf, a global business consulting company.

Labor Finders International Inc., an industrial labor staffing franchise company based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., appointed Dan Shube as chief marketing officer. Shube joined Labor Finders in 2007 as the director of marketing.

Oasis Outsourcing, a professional employer organization based in West Palm Beach, Fla., named Robert Hsu as executive vice president and chief information officer. Hsu previously was chief technology officer for Pacific Alternative Asset Management Co. Staffing Industry Analysts ranks Oasis Outsourcing as the third-largest PEO staffing firm in the United States.

Resources Global Professionals announced Nancy Galietti joined the company as managing consultant of the information management practice. She will lead RGP’s information management strategy and advisory services. Galietti previously was CIO and VP of technology for the National Football League. Resources Global Professionals is the operating subsidiary of staffing provider Resources Connection Inc. (NASD: RECN).

11th Hour Search LLC announced Jack Causa joined the firm as a partner. Causa will serve as president and oversee client service, operations and business development. He previously was Washington area managing partner at SolomonEdwardsGroup. Alexandria, Va.-based 11th Hour Search is a professional services recruiting firm specializing in the finance and accounting and information technology sectors.

Executive search firm Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Andrés Tapia joined the firm as a senior partner with Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting as part of its diversity, inclusion, and talent optimization practice. He will be based in Korn/Ferry's Chicago office. Tapia previously was president of Diversity Best Practices, a diversity and inclusion think-tank and consultancy. 

MSA Executive Search placed Paul Peabody as vice president and chief information officer for Bronson Healthcare, a health system located in Kalamazoo, Mich. Peabody previously was CIO at Palomar Health in  Escondido, Calif., but spent most of his career as CIO at Beaumont Hospitals in Detroit.

SpringBoard Inc., a Phoenix-based healthcare staffing company, named Tim Jones as its new managing director. Jones has 20 years of healthcare staffing experience and a background in travel, per diem and direct hire search services.
