People: Resources Global Professionals, The Resource, Lighthouse Management Group …

Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include announcements from Resources Global Professionals, The Resource, Lighthouse Management Group, Russell Reynolds Associates, SPMB and Fuel Talent.

Resources Global Professionals promoted Craig Lewis and Ruth Hughes to regional managing director roles. Lewis will oversee RGPs Mid-Atlantic region in the U.S., while Hughes will have expanded business development responsibilities in Europe.

North Carolina-based professional recruiting firm The Resource selected Todd Freeman, a recruiter and branch manager for the agency, to lead its new TEMPSource specialty division. The company this month changed its name from Temporary Resources and is restructuring into five specialty divisions. Freeman will operate out of the corporate office of The Resource in Winston-Salem.

Silicon Valley-based Lighthouse Management Group Inc. named Jonathan Ruiz practice director of the firm’s Silicon Valley operations. Prior to joining Lighthouse Management Group, Ruiz spent the bulk of his career with a large global staffing firm where he drove the business development process throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates added healthcare business consultant Mindy Kairey to the firm’s healthcare sector in its Chicago office. Kairey most recently was a business advisor at MSK Ventures.

California-based SPMB (formerly known as Schweichler Price Mullarkey and Barry), a retained executive search firm for technology, promoted four new partners to its senior management team; Long-time employees Eamonn Tucker, Michael Doonan and Sean Lucq have been promoted, and Todd Greenhalgh joined the firm through SPMB’s acquisition of the firm he founded, Green Atom, which focused on industrial and sustainability sectors. Additionally, Nicole Freitas was promoted to client partner, a position one step removed from partner.

Shauna Swerland launched Fuel Talent, of which she is founder and CEO. The company is the result of Swerland’s acquisition of the Seattle office of Glocap Search, a New York City-based executive search firm where she was a partner for 10 years.
