People: Resources Global Professionals, Advantage RN, PrideStaff …

Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include changes at Resources Global Professionals, Advantage RN, PrideStaff and others.

Resources Global Professionals promoted Tracy Stephens to executive vice president and chief operating officer effective immediately. Stephens most recently served as senior vice president of the firm’s U.S. Central-Southeast Region. Stephens founded a firm called The Procurement Centre in 1996, which was acquired by Resources Global Professionals in 2002. Resources Global Professionals is the operating subsidiary of staffing provider Resources Connection Inc. (NASD: RECN).

Advantage RN, a Cincinnati-based healthcare staffing firm, promoted Dawn Rider-Carter to senior vice president of recruiting. Rider-Carter is one of the firm’s founders and previously served as vice president of client development and East Region recruiting. Advantage RN also promoted Marianne Heatherly to senior vice president of operations and client development. She previously served as vice president of operations and West Region recruiting.

Mike Furman is co-owner/strategic partner of the new Lehigh Valley PrideStaff office in Bethlehem, Penn. In addition, PrideStaff announced Kim Tillery is co-owner/strategic partner of the new Tuscaloosa office in Northport, Ala.

Optomi LLC, an information technology staffing provider, promoted Clark Dorsey to recruiting manager of its new Dallas office. Dorsey had been a senior recruiter at the company’s Atlanta headquarters.

Executive search firm CTPartners (NYSE MKT: CTP) announced Paul Aldrich will lead the firm’s global chief human resources practice in Asia and Tim Kemp will lead the same practice in Europe.

Professional employer organization Extensis Group Inc. named David Pearson as vice president of human resources. Pearson most recently held a key leadership position with ADP TotalSource at its New York office. Pearson also held human resources positions with Target Corp. and Revrac Industries.
