Randstad Sourceright appointed Jason Roberts as vice president of operations, overseeing the newly formed operations unit of its recruitment process outsourcing business. Roberts previously led the Sourcing Center of Excellence and Innovation Lab for the business process outsourcing division of a multinational management consulting and outsourcing company. He also led operations and optimization in Cisco’s talent acquisition organization. Randstad Sourceright provides RPO, operates as a managed service provider and provides other services.

Peoplefluent, a provider of a vendor management system and other talent management software, appointed Michael Ettling to its board of directors. Ettling most recently served as CEO of U.K.-based NGA Human Resources, a $950 million HR service provider employing 8,500 people in 30 countries.

Michael Page International plc, a London-based professional staffing firm, announced Roberto Machado will head a new office in Los Angeles. Machado, senior managing director, West Coast USA at Michael Page, has worked with Michael Page for approximately 12 years and has set up five of its existing offices globally.

E.A. Hughes & Co., a specialty retained executive search firm serving consumer-driven businesses, announced Ann MacCarthy joined the firm as managing partner. MacCarthy’s experience includes vice president, human resources for Gestetner PLC as well as senior positions in human resources at Sara Lee Corp. and U.S. Industries Apparel Group. MacCarthy is based in New York.

Silicon Valley-based Lighthouse Management Group Inc. announced Meg Shea joined the professional staffing and consulting firm as business development director. Shea previously was principal and chief operating officer at Northstar Capital Management.

Hanover Search Group, a London-based executive search firm for the financial services sector, named Scott McKenna associate partner, Hanover Search (US) Inc.

Kincannon and Reed, a search firm specializing in the food, agribusiness and life sciences sectors, promoted Lisa Fisher to director. Fischer will be based in Washington, D.C.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s board of directors appointed Pamela Craig, retired CFO of Accenture, as a new member of the company's board. Accenture is a global consulting, technology and business process outsourcing provider, and Craig served as the company's chief financial officer from October 2006 until July 2013.
