Firms announcing hires and promotions include RCM Technologies Inc. (NASD: RCMT), CTPartners (AMEX: CTP), Advanced Resources LLC, Egon Zehnder International and Boyden.

RCM Technologies Inc. appointed Tim Brandt as group senior vice president of its IT division. Prior to joining RCM, Brandt’s most recent experience included developing and leading the IT-focused business at Kforce Inc. (NASD: KFRC) and Pinkerton Consultants.

CTPartners, an executive search firm, announced that Laurie O’Shea joined as vice chairman and global head of its insurance practice. O’Shea will also be a member of the board and CEO practice. O’Shea previously served at Russell Reynolds Associates for the past 15 years.

Advanced Resources LLC, a Chicago-based staffing provider, promoted David Bouta to managing director of its finance and accounting direct hire practice. Bouta has five years of search experience within the financial industry. Prior to his career in search, Bouta was a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers and an investment analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Egon Zehnder International, an executive search firm, named Arun Dhingra as leader of its financial officers practice. Dhingra joined Egon Zehnder from the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, where he led its financial services practice.

Boyden, an executive search firm, appointed Paul Schmidt as a managing director in its consumer and industrial practices. He will be based in Chicago. Schmidt has more than 25 years of executive search and leadership experience.
