People: Petroplan, DISYS, Boyden, Arrow Strategies and more

Petroplan, a recruitment firm targeting the oil and gas industry, appointed James Monaghan as recruitment manager for its Houston office. He will expand Petroplan’s footprint throughout the US, leading a team of recruiters specializing in disciplines including construction; commissioning; engineering; health, safety and environment (HSE); and project services. Monaghan most recently was with NES Global Talent.

Digital Intelligence Systems Corp. added retired Accenture executive Tom Van Horn as a new board member. Van Horn most recently was managing director of Accenture’s communications, media and technology APAC sales lead.

Executive search firm Boyden announced Simon Gough has joined Boyden UK as managing partner of its interim management practice. Previously, Gough previously spent nine years as a partner with another interim management firm, where he focused on the private equity and advisory sectors in both pre- and post-deal situations.

Arrow Strategies, a Bingham Farms, Mich.-based staffing company, hired Kerry Kurowski as VP of business development. Kurowski has more than 20 years of experience in IT consulting services. She started her career in recruiting, before moving into roles of direct sales, account management, and employee support.

McKinley Marketing Partners, a Washington, DC-based staffing firm for marketing professionals, announced Joe Deutsch, the firm’s new director of business development, and Director of Client Services Marty Hendershot will lead its new office location in New York City.

Oasis Outsourcing, a professional employer organization based in West Palm Beach, Fla., hired Jeffrey Farber as district manager to lead its newly opened office in Hartford, Conn.
