People: Oxford Consulting Group, Pro Staff, Odgers Berndtson…

Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personal announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include changes at Oxford Consulting Group, Pro Staff, Odgers Berndtson and others.

Information technology staffing and services firm Oxford Consulting Group appointed Chad Young to the newly created position of senior vice president, staffing and strategic initiatives. Young has more than fifteen years’ experience in the IT industry and previously was vice president of indirect channels and retail sales at Talaris, a cash management product company.

Pro Staff named Doug Karr vice president of Pro Staff in Houston. Karr has 15 years' experience in the staffing industry in the Houston and Louisiana markets, most recently with ManpowerGroup. Pro Staff is owned by Minneapolis-based staffing provider Atterro Human Capital Group and specializes in administrative and light industrial staffing.

Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson added Brian Schnepff to the firm’s insurance practice as a partner based in its Chicago office. Schnepff previously specialized in insurance-sector searches as a principal with the global financial services practice of executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles. In addition to searches for front office executive-level roles, Schnepff will conduct functional and business-line leadership searches.

Strategic Staffing Solutions Inc. announced Jeff Nelson, vice president located in Richmond, Va., will oversee it new office in Riga, Latvia. The Detroit-based, information technology staffing provider opened the office, which is staffed with local talent and support from Lithuania, to service its customers in the region and expand its growth in Europe.

Brightwing, a recruiting and training company, hired John Eagy as director of recruiting. Eagy has more than 19 years of staffing experience and previously held leadership roles in recruiting and RPO program management. Brightwing has offices in Weston, Fla., and Dallas.

Joulé Inc. named David Stevens as regional sales manager of the Joulé Clinical and Scientific Staffing Solutions division headquartered in Edison, N.J. Stevens has 17 years of technical staffing experience and most recently managed the contract staffing division of MRI Network, a global recruitment firm. Joulé Clinical & Scientific Staffing Solutions provides staffing to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and clinical research firms.

Medical Staffing Solutions LLC hired two additional staff members to facilitate the expansion of its corporate office in Evansville, Ind. Dana Dietsch joins the recruiting department and will be responsible for the growth and development of clinical services, and Denise Mister will oversee the logistics and credentialing procedures for the company’s travel needs.
