People: Oasis, Alexander Mann, Korn Ferry, Jibe and more

Oasis Outsourcing, a professional employer organization based in West Palm Beach, Fla., announced President and CEO Mark Perlberg has been elected to the board of directors at Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASD: CCRN), effective May 12. Staffing Industry Analysts ranks Boca Raton, Fla.-based Cross Country Healthcare No. 4 on the list of largest US healthcare staffing firms and Oasis Outsourcing as the third-largest PEO staffing firm in the US.

Alexander Mann Solutions, a London-based recruitment process outsourcing firm, appointed Penny Queller as senior VP of sales for the Americas region. Queller most recently was VP of global solutions and services at The Bartech Group. She is based in St Louis, Mo.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Nick Evans joined the firm as senior client partner in the financial practice. Evans started his career with the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office before moving into the recruitment industry. Puneet Bahl also joined the firm as senior client partner and a member of the global board practice and the global financial market. Bahl most recently was the group country manager for Sub-Saharan Africa at Visa Inc. He will be based in Korn Ferry’s New Delhi office.

Jibe Inc. named Mark Bissell as senior VP of customer success. He most recently was VP of customer success at WeSpire, a cloud-based employee engagement platform. Bissell will lead a 25-person global team and report to CEO Joe Essenfeld.

Lenexa, Kan.-based B. E. Smith, an executive search firm specializing in healthcare, hired Byron Atkinson as VP, leadership advisor for the firm’s interim leadership and advisory services division. Atkinson previously held leadership positions at healthcare organizations including Indiana University Health System, John Hopkins Health System, Ascension and Provena Health Systems.

IT staffing provider Technical ProSource, an Atterro company, announced George Burns joined the company as managing director of its Dallas office. Burns has worked within the technical staffing industry since 2006, and most recently at Robert Half Technology.

Christenson Advisory Services, a provider of executive search, compensation, financial advisory and management consulting services to the real estate industry, announced Kara Sugimoto and her team joined the firm’s Los Angeles office. Sugimoto, a principal, will lead Christenson Advisory's West Coast executive search practice. She and her team joined the company from Origin Advisors Inc., a boutique real estate retained search firm in Los Angeles.
