MDI Group announced Oct. 2 it named Connie Chiasson as president of its information technology workforce solutions division. Chiasson previously served as VP of operations. MDI also named Richey Brownfield as chief operating officer. Brownfield previously served as VP of operations. MDI is an Atlanta-based IT staffing firm.

Headway Corporate Resources, a Raleigh NC-based staffing firm, appointed Alvin "Al" Ragland as its VP for engineering and technology resources. Ragland most recently served as senior VP of human resources at Tekelec.
