MBO Partners appointed Kimball Norup as western region vice president for its enterprise solutions business. Norup’s previous positions include serving as senior vice president and general manager at Collabrus and as senior vice president of marketing for the Nelson Family of Companies. MBO Partners provides business services for independent contractors as well as independent contractor compliance services for users of independent contractors.

Russell Reynolds Associates, an executive search firm, named Annika Tycer as executive director of its industrial/natural resources sector and its corporate officers sector. Tycer previously served at McKinsey & Company. She will be based in Houston.

CTPartners, an executive search firm, appointed John Keller as global head of its technology, media and telecom practice. Keller will also continue to serve as vice chairman of the firm’s CEO and board practice, a job he took on in January 2011.
