Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include changes at Korn/Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles, Continuum, Raines and more.

Executive search firm Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Keith Deussing joined the firm as a senior client partner in the global technology practice. Deussing previously was a senior partner in the technology and industrial practices at a global executive recruiting firm. 

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) announced Sean Carroll joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s global technology and services practice. He is based in New York. Carroll previously was managing partner for a boutique retained executive search firm, where he led all activities in the New York metro market.

Continuum, a managed services provider based in Boston, appointed James Foy to its board of directors. Foy serves on the board of Talend, LiveLook and Dealertrack, and also served as executive chairman at Aspect Software.

Raines International, a New York City-based executive search firm, announced several promotions. Alison Hunter was promoted to director. Hunter joined Raines in 2010 as a research associate and subsequently managed the research department before assuming responsibility of ConsultantTrack.com. Courtney Ryan was promoted to senior associate from manager of the firm’s research department. Ryan will serve as an executive recruiter on assignments in a variety of functional areas, including finance, marketing and operations. The company also promoted Dana Epsten to research manager and Kristen Ridgway to communications manager. Both Epsten and Ridgway began their careers at Raines as research associates.

LINKED, a Dallas-based executive search firm, tapped Jim Shute as principal recruiting consultant. Shute will focus on local and national consumer package goods and beverage companies.

Interim HealthCare Inc., a home care, hospice and health staffing franchise firm, announced a franchise agreement with retiring Air Force veterans Michael Hawkins and Michael Eliason in Salt Lake City. They plan to begin offering personal care and support services in February 2014 and expand to skilled nursing care within the first year.

Nectir Inc., a staffing franchise organization, announced Hitesh Aurora is the business development manager of a new branch in Boston.
